Monsters Crash the Valentine's Day Party, Vol. II

Love means never having to say you're sorry for liking old sci-fi and horror movies.

The Alligator People (1959) - Eric's winning smile was irresistible.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931) - On his first date in a long time, Hyde wondered if Jekyll's advice to "just be yourself" was such a good idea.

I Married a Monster from Outer Space (1958) - Marge began to have doubts when her new husband Bill suggested bringing along his best man on the honeymoon.

King Kong vs. Godzilla (1963) - King Kong wanted to like Godzilla, but that breath was a real problem

Invasion of the Star Creatures (1962) - "Hey earthman, my eyes are up here!"

  1. These are hilarious! I saw Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for the first time not long ago. I know this is blasphemy, but when I saw Hyde's face, all I could think of was Jerry Lewis in The Nutty Professor. Maybe I should resign from the Intergalactic Cinephile Society...

    1. Don't resign just yet Mike, you are not alone in thinking March's make-up is over the top, although that's the first time I've seen it compared to The Nutty Professor! :-) The Jerry Lewis movie reminds me of one of my favorite lesser known versions of the Stevenson story, Hammer's The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll, in which a very homely Jekyll (played by Paul Massie) turns into the dashing and handsome Mr. Hyde.
